Fearless Blue

PTSD or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is a mental health issue which can affect people of all ages. In children, physical or emotional distress can lead to signs of depression. The child may feel trivial and become antisocial, along with showing disinterest in recognized hobbies and schoolwork. Negative sentiments produced by PTSD, can impact a child psychologically and damage their physical health in the long run.

The sole purpose of Fearless Blue is to be a motivational story for children who are going through PTSD to overcome their fear. Readers will follow the main character “Little Blue”(an energetic Blue Jay), through his downfall with flying and how he decided to spread his wings and take off into the beautiful blue sky again with the supportive help of his father.
