FAIR
FAIR (Financial Access, Inclusivity, and Resources):
Everyone should have equal opportunities to accessing a higher education, regardless of their background or circumstances. The financial aid process is overwhelming and many students face barriers to access the support they need, so there should be a tool that makes it accessible, and user-friendly.
The tool should:
- Simplify the unnecessary complexity of the FAFSA
- Eliminate absurd barriers by simplifying the complex language, personalizing and streamlining the process for unique needs and circumstances
- Provide personalized assistance and resources
- Empower often-marginalized applicants
Technology continues to evolve, so latest advancements (such as Al) should be leveraged to widen doors of opportunities, and to balance equity to accessing a higher education. Said tool should be inclusive, proactive, and empowering.
